Brian Mcnally was raised in a working class family from Philadelphia where he was taught to value hard work, integrity and grit. Like so many, Brian lived his life without clear direction, focused on surviving, increasing his paycheck and doing what society had conditioned him to do. You know, go to college, get a job, and work the job until you can retire. Then, hopefully, you will start to enjoy life. He walked the path but always dreamed of a better life, one of freedom where he was fit, wealthy and truly happy. So focused on succeeding in business, he let his health and relationships go by the wayside, a mistake many can relate to. He went on to work as a sales professional for different companies over the years, always seeking growth, skill acquisition and bigger opportunities to earn until 2015. In 2015, he and his business partner Jason Chiappetta started Meleeo, a healthcare staffing and consulting firm specializing in the revenue cycle of hospitals. As the sole breadwinner for his family, which consisted of a two-year-old and 2nd child on the way, his friends and family were concerned the risk was too great. Brian decided the risk of inaction and ultimately living a life of regret was far greater, he took the leap and once again found business success but continued to struggle with balancing his health, relationships and business. This imbalance led to an overweight, unhappy husband and disengaged father, which almost cost him his marriage. At one point, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, after the company had reached $10 million in annual revenue and was on pace to double in revenue, the company lost 50% of its revenue in 6 weeks; he was swimming in a pool of negativity on social media and fell back into old habits and behaviors.
It was at this low point he decided to fight for the life he always dreamed about; he realized that the only way out was through self-improvement, he could blame the outside world, or he could do the work necessary to change it. At this point, he dedicated himself to living up to his potential in all aspects of his life, leading by example, and being the change he wanted to see in the world. Through self-reflection, dedication and sheer will, he reached peak physical health, repaired his relationships with his wife and children and led the company to rebound and new heights of success, ultimately leading to $50 million in annual revenue and a multi–eight-figure exit in 2022. Frustrated by all the fake, overhyped “motivational” speakers and coaches who exaggerate their achievements or preach the “grind” without really grinding themselves, he is on a mission to deliver “real” inspiration and support for entrepreneurs looking to create a life of freedom and fulfillment.
